Our Yoga classes vary greatly in terms of physical movement from super slow, relaxing to very heated and challenging faster pace classes. All classes aim to follow the energy of the sun keeping you best in line within your natural flow rhythms, join us to wake up with dynamic classes getting your lungs active & body awake for the day, challenge your strength & balance in the afternoons, then relax into your evening with deep relaxation preparing you for sleep.
The most important thing to remember when choosing a class to attend is:

An early morning class focused on connecting your mind, body and breath to invigorate your entire being. All while enjoying the beautiful morning sun rising.
A class loosely based on Ashtanga Yoga principles, you will experience Sun Salutations, breath work and a range of standing and finishing postures
Our strongest out of all the classes, Vinyasa encourages flow and movement with the breath, connecting all elements of your being through dynamic movements.
Based mostly on Hatha yoga principles, within a gentle yoga class you will experience slow moving flow sequences accompanied with simple breath-work assisting your mind, body & soul to re connect on a deeper level leaving you to feel more invigorated for your day.
Yin is a passive yoga practice where poses are held for 3 - 5 minutes, sometimes longer, to work into the deeper layers of the body
Yoga for Sleep
A nurturing offering that includes a range of different postures, philosophy, meditation and breath work helping you to release the stressors of each day and set your intentions clear on all the rejuvenation you need through each nights sleep.
Roll & Restore Yoga
A combination class including some of the most relaxation inducing Restorative yoga postures with some release work with our foam rollers and massage balls.
With yoga nidra, you are lying down and the goal is to move into a deep state of conscious awareness sleep. This systematic meditation takes you through the pancha maya kosha (five layers of self), leaving you with a sense of wholeness.
One of the most valuable tools we have as humans is knowing that we are sepearte to those around us as well as connected. We all live individual lives amongst family and friends and it is very important to look inside and nurture the being that you are.
In this Class our teacher will lovingly guide you through serious of meditation exercises for you to connect with and support your inner-self.
All of our Mat based Pilates classes are based on the techniques developed over the years to assist your body, mind & breath to work in alignment for a better posture.
In doing so you will grow strength, flexibility and a new sense of belonging enjoying our vibrant classes within the nurturing Expansion studios.
Introduction to Reformer Pilates
We run Introduction classes most weeks to allow all new students to learn about how this interesting machines work, and how they support us and challenge us further through each exercise.
These classes go for a little longer allowing you time to ask as many questions as you need.
STRETCH & RECOVER
Stretch & Recover
In any of our Stretch focused classes we will utilise a range of different props, big & small Pilates balls, foam rollers, bands & massage balls to assist you in restoring your body to its happy place after long periods of inactivity or excessive exercise.
Reformer Pilates is a dynamic form of exercise that uses the machine’s springs and levers to create resistance and allow for equal focus on both the contraction of the muscles and the eccentric release to create long, lean muscles.
